The timeline for your wedding: when to decide what
Venues in good demand are often booked out a year in advance — anyone set on a particular place or a particular season should tackle this step correspondingly early.
Catering and equipment can usually be settled considerably later than the venue itself — here it's about matching your personal style rather than the date.
The week before the wedding should be deliberately kept light: the fewer decisions left open in the final week, the more relaxed the day itself can be.
On the day of the wedding, you and your guests should be the only ones with nothing to organise — that is the heart of what we mean by support on the day.
