A marquee alone isn't a plan B — what matters is whether power, flooring and escape routes have been thought through for the fallback scenario as well.

The timing of the decision matters too: if you switch to the alternative at short notice, everyone involved — catering, technology, guest communication — should know in advance what the schedule then looks like.
